Colette Galvin was a stained glass hobbyist for 10 years before giving up her profession in project management to concentrate on her first love in 2007.

Colette uses traditional techniques and tools to create glass work with a contemporary look. She compliments this with fused pieces and modern jewellery made with dichroic glass.

She says "I start with large sheets of art glass for doors, windows and panels and use the left overs to create bowls and mirrors. I then incorporate the scraps in jewellery and trinkets and the shards in kaleidescopes. How's that for waste management?"
